Adam Morrison plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. Morrison played for three years at Gonzaga University and was considered to be one of the top college basketball players in 2005–06. He was a finalist for the Naismith and the Wooden Award. Morrison was selected 3rd overall in the 2006 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats. On February 7, 2009, he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Adam was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (insulin-dependent diabetes) at age 13. Off the court, Morrison regulates his blood sugar with an insulin pump attached to his abdomen.
